On Thursday, July 18th, 2024 at 5 pm Panama time, Miranda is teaching a FREE introduction to "Dancing Digits". This is being offered through FUNDAPROMAT (https://fundapromat.org). The mission of the Panamanian Foundation for the Promotion of Mathematics (FUNDAPROMAT) is to change the perception of the world so that every one of us can experience mathematics as accessible, relevant, and inherently fun.
The Dancing Digits workshop led by Miranda Abbott founder of Dance Equations, explores rapid additions and subtractions with the body as a calculator. Designed to enhance students' mental math skills engagingly and dynamically, Dancing Digits is a great way to take a quick break away from seated classwork and stimulate the mind in new ways.
